A grid of rectangles is enough to count tiles. It is a hard way to decide you want to live with them. Generate makes a photograph of the room you already planned, from the camera angle you already chose, so you can look at the result before a box is paid for.
The photograph is not a new design. The walls, the openings, the tile, the grout, the cuts and any furniture stay as you set them. Total tiles and the Cut list do not change because you generated a picture.
Switch to 3D, then Generate
Plan the room first. A picture of an empty default wall is not the bathroom you are buying for.
In the header, switch 2D / 3D to 3D. The bar on the view has Orbit, Transparency, Callouts, Surface Finish (Matte, Satin or Glossy) and Generate.
Turn the room with Orbit until you are looking at the wall the customer will see. Glossy tile and matte tile are different photographs; set Surface Finish before you generate.
Generate is on that bar in the 3D view. It is not on the phone app. If you are still in 2D, the studio tells you to switch to 3D.
Realistic AI rendering on Home & DIY and Shop
Generate is on the 3D bar for a signed-in account.
Free opens a dialog: Realistic AI rendering. "Upgrade to Home & DIY plan and get 10 realistic AI renderings." The button is Choose Home & DIY.
Home & DIY includes 10 realistic AI renderings a month. Shop includes 100. When that month is used up, the dialog offers extra packs labeled 25, 50, and 100 (25 for $4, 50 for $6, 100 for $10). Home & DIY can also move to Shop. Shop can also contact sales about Enterprise.
Free, Home & DIY and Shop still include the layout, the Estimate, the Cut list and the Blueprint. The photograph spends the allowance above.
A shop that wants customers to see the finished room on a product page turns visualization on for that page. That allowance is separate from the Home & DIY and Shop packs.
When a shop has visualization turned on
Generate opens Visualization of the current 3D camera. The line while you wait is "Rendering photoreal view" and "This may take a few minutes..."
When it is ready:
- Download saves the picture.
- Close puts it away.
- Another version asks for a second photograph of the same view.
- Last AI render opens the latest picture again without asking for a new one.
Asking for the same view again does not use another one of the shop's visualizations for the month. Another version does, because it is a new picture. The studio does not show a remaining count.
If the month's allowance is used up: "The AI visualization limit for this period has been reached. Contact an administrator to continue." If too many were asked for in one hour: "Too many visualizations were requested this hour. Try again later."
The picture is not the order
When a picture exists, the Project Blueprint adds a Visualization page with it. The quantities on page 1 are still the layout, not the photograph. Order from the Estimate. Use the photograph to agree the look.
