Online Store Widget

Localization & branding

Eight UI locales, per-locale catalog names, display currency, and brand theming so the widget looks like part of your store.

The widget adapts to your storefront's language, currency, and brand, so the planning experience feels like part of your site rather than a third-party tool.

UI locales

The widget ships eight UI locales: English, Русский, Deutsch, Polski, Italiano, Español, Français, and Português. Set the language once:

ScalarcutTiling.mount('#sc-tiling', {
  widgetKey: 'YOUR_WIDGET_KEY',
  locale: 'de',
});

The locale drives every label, the blueprint PDF, and number formatting for that shopper. If you do not pin a locale, the widget falls back to the shopper's browser language.

Per-locale catalog names

Your catalog can carry a name for each locale. When you provide them, the widget shows the product name in the shopper's language; otherwise it uses the default name. This is set in the same CSV mapping as the rest of the catalog.

Display currency

Set a display currency for the estimate:

ScalarcutTiling.mount('#sc-tiling', {
  widgetKey: 'YOUR_WIDGET_KEY',
  currency: 'EUR',
});

Currency is a display preference for the on-screen estimate. The price charged at checkout is still yours — see Cart integration.

Brand theming

Your account carries the widget's theme:

  • Primary colour — the widget's buttons and focus states use your brand colour, with hover and active shades derived automatically.
  • Logo — shown in the widget header and on the blueprint PDF.
  • Legal name — printed on blueprints as the issuing company.
  • Powered-by — a small, optional attribution line. Keep it to help shoppers recognise the planner, or hide it for a fully white-label look.

Theming is configured once in your dashboard and applies to every embed automatically — no per-page code.

What the widget never shows

The widget has no competing calls to action: no "sign up for Scalarcut", no redirects, no third-party checkout. Every forward step the shopper sees — add to cart, or the link back to your store — is yours.
