We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, language selection, remembering your cookie choices, CSRF protection, analytics, advertising where applicable, and reliable operation of scalarcut.com and related applications.

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. It helps the site remember your session, settings, and preferences.
Similar technologies store data in the browser or on your device without sending it on every website request — we describe those below as well (including mobile advertising identifiers).
- Strictly necessary — enable sign-in, security (CSRF), locale preferences, and remembering your cookie choice. Set without separate consent.
- Security — contact form protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Set only after you consent in the cookie banner where required.
- Functional — interface convenience. Theme preference may be stored in browser storage (not a cookie).
- Analytics — visit statistics via Google Analytics. Loaded after consent where required.
- Marketing — advertising and retargeting, including Yandex Advertising Network / VK Ads / Pangle rewarded video and interstitial ads in the mobile apps. Subject to cookie banner and/or mobile platform consent where required.
- scalarcut_session (or an equivalent session cookie name) — session ID, sign-in, interface language in session, demo mode. Category: strictly necessary. Duration: until session ends or per browser settings.
- XSRF-TOKEN — cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection. Category: strictly necessary.
- scalarcut_consent — remembers your cookie banner choice. Category: strictly necessary. Duration: up to 12 months.
- __cf_* / cf_clearance (Cloudflare Turnstile) — spam check on the Contact page. Category: security. Only after consent where required.
- _ga / _gid (Google Analytics) — distinguish visitors and sessions for usage statistics. Category: analytics. After consent where required.
- Browser storage (theme) — light/dark interface theme. Not a cookie; cleared when you close the browser tab or clear site data.
- Mobile API tokens — stored in the app on your device, not in browser cookies.
- Yandex Advertising Network / VK Ads / Pangle / advertising IDs — handled by the ad SDK on your device for rewarded video and interstitial ads; not website cookies. Subject to platform and consent rules.
When paying for a plan you may be redirected to a secure Stripe checkout, which may set its own cookies under Stripe’s privacy and cookie policies.
If you consent to the Security cookie category on the contact page, the Cloudflare Turnstile widget is loaded.
With analytics consent where required, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _gid. Mobile apps may show ads via Yandex Advertising Network (including VK Ads and Pangle). See the Privacy Policy for details.
Scalarcut uses Google Analytics on the website to understand traffic and improve the Service.
In the mobile apps we use Yandex Advertising Network (including VK Ads and Pangle via Yandex Mediation) for rewarded video and interstitial advertising.
Non-essential analytics cookies and advertising technologies load only after your explicit consent via the cookie banner or applicable mobile consent flows, where required. You can change cookie choices as described below.
On your first visit a banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or customize categories. You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the site footer where available.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. You may need to sign in again and make a new banner choice. On mobile devices, advertising preferences may also be controlled in system settings (for example, limit ad tracking / privacy ads settings).
